Gamify your event by having guests post specific photos you want to capture. Create your own Clues or use our wedding related template that you can customize or use out-of-the-box. Activate Scavenger Hunt:
- In the settings, enable 'Scavenger Hunt'. The following window is displayed.
- Choose 'None' or 'Wedding Template', and click SAVE.
- If 'Wedding Template' is selected, as shown above, a group of images will be posted to your Timeline, as shown below. You can edit these as desired.
NOTE: You may need to refresh the window, to display the template images.
- To manually add your own Clues, in the settings, enable 'Scavenger Hunt'. In the following window, choose 'None' as shown below.
- Then click 'Yes' and 'Save', as shown below.
- If you choose to create your own 'Clues' and content, you will need to create a number of image or photo files, to be used as 'Clues'.
- Once you've created the image files, you'll then click the Add '+' button and then click on 'CLUE'. Then in the Explorer or Finder window, select an image file to upload as a 'Clue'. A 'Clue' image will have a magnifying glass icon in the top left as shown below, when displayed in the Timeline.
- To display a Prize, the Host will click '+' and then click on 'Prize'.
- Guests then use the clues to find the item and take a photo to upload.
- For example, the guests will see the clues you've selected, as shown below:
- They will click on the clue to display the details as shown below:
- Guests will then click the add '+' button shown above in the bottom-right.
- Once they select their photo to upload, it will replace the clue image, as shown:
- The Prize photo uploaded by the Host will be displayed with a star icon as shown below. It will also be displayed in the full width of the Timeline.
- Required steps during setup:
Contact Support (support@livesharenow.com ) and request they update one or two Admin settings for your Scavenger Hunt event(s). This requires your guests to upload via the clue image, as shown above. And you can also require they login.
You will need to ensure the user setting 'Allow posting without login' is disabled, as shown below.
Guest will need to create their own free LiveShare account. Once they access your event via the QR code or link, they will login using the email and password. Guests can use this FAQ to create a free account. This is also required so guests will only see their uploaded photos in their LiveShare gallery.
