- For the Premium and Premium Plus plans, guests do not need to create an account, and do not need to login with an email and password. When guests access a Premium or Premium Plus Event, and select to upload a photo, only the first time they are asked to enter a name; this can be a first name, nickname or initials.
- The reason guests are asked to enter a name is because our customers want to see who uploaded each photo. And there are several features which use this name as shown below. These features use the name or nickname to allow guests to connect, and allow the host to thank their guests which have contributed to their celebration and their memories.
- For example, when a guest enters the name 'Cici' when they first select to upload a photo in an Event, their name is displayed with the photo (and all additional photos), as shown below.
- When other guests view the photo and the name of the guest that uploaded it, they can then comment on the photo, or choose to like the photo. For example, if Cici uploads a photo, and Gabby comments, it displays as below:
- What if guests aren't comfortable entering their name? We'd recommend you encourage your guests to enter their name or nickname. However as noted in the first paragraph, guests can enter their initials, or even a single character. Their name or a name isn't required. This is not a login. However if needed, you can require users to login on Premium and Premium Plus plans.
- With the Trial and Standard plans, for a guest to upload photos they first need to create a free LiveShare account, and when they select to upload a photo the first time as a guest in an Event, they must enter their email address and account Password.
